Story bags

I would make loads of these bags when I worked as a teacher and thought I would put one together for my little one.

Step one: Reuse, buy or make a small bag that can fit a small book in it.

Step two: Choose a popular children’s story book, for example; The Three Little Pigs, Little Red Riding Hood or perhaps Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

Step three: Add some activities that follow the story. In my story bags, I added some finger puppets, some small cardboard houses I found on Amazon and some masks.

Step four: Let your little one flick through the story, play with the puppets, houses and masks.

The idea is to keep changing the story and activities so that they can explore different traditional stories at their own pace. Next week I am hoping to put together a bag with the story Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
