Rainforest Learning Den

I love making dens and it is really easy to add some simple learning aspects to it.

  1. Add a table with a puzzle on it that they can do independently. Here I have added a colour sorting game. I happened to have some different coloured frogs that she had to place on the matching coloured plates.

2. Above it, I also used contact paper and stuck up the names of six colours. My little one then stuck up pictures of rainforest animals that matched those colours.

3. I also inserted a cardboard box to use as a mini table in the den so that my little one could line up her rainforest animals.

4. Add contact paper to the inside of your den so that they can stick, unstick and re-stick images of animals. The resticking can only be done if you laminate the images.
